Bo Nichols serves as Chief Financial Officer of Moda Capital, where he oversees the firm’s financial strategy, portfolio management, and operational execution. In this role, Bo is responsible for asset allocation, risk assessment and mitigation, fundraising support, and driving the overall performance of Moda Capital’s investment platform. He ensures that the firm’s investment strategies remain aligned with long-term growth objectives while maintaining a disciplined focus on operational efficiency, risk management, and investor returns.
Throughout his career, Bo has held senior investment and portfolio management roles across both family office and private equity platforms. He previously served as Director of Investments for a family office, where he managed a $1 billion investment portfolio and directly deployed more than $228.8 million in capital commitments. Additionally, Bo has worked as a private equity portfolio manager, overseeing a $10 billion diversified alternatives portfolio.
Prior to joining Moda Capital, Bo served as a consultant on a wide range of transactions spanning commercial real estate, life sciences, machine learning and data science, technology, and entertainment, primarily advising early-stage investors and growth-oriented platforms.
Bo holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance, Accounting, and International Business from the University of Oklahoma. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, two children, and an over-exuberant golden retriever.
